Every Cassie trade lands on one of two venues: Hyperliquid for crypto perpetuals and spot markets, or Polymarket for binary YES/NO prediction markets. When you mention Cassie, the AI pipeline searches both venues, assesses which one best expresses the thesis in the source tweet, and places the order on whichever is the cleaner fit. You do not choose the venue yourself — Cassie picks it.

Hyperliquid

Hyperliquid is a decentralized on-chain exchange for perpetual futures and spot trading. It runs its own high-performance L1, offering CEX-like speed with full on-chain settlement. What Cassie can tradeCassie supports crypto perpetuals and spot markets on Hyperliquid, including BTC, ETH, and SOL as primary assets, plus a growing list of additional tokens. Perpetuals let Cassie express directional views with leverage; spot is used when the tweet thesis calls for direct exposure.

Order mechanicsCassie uses IOC limit orders on Hyperliquid. The order is sent at a price close to the current mark; if it does not fill immediately it is cancelled rather than resting in the book. This avoids slippage from sitting orders while still achieving a market-quality fill in normal conditions.LeveragePerpetual positions are opened at 3× leverage by default, as set in your account configuration. Your margin is the USDC from your Privy wallet; the notional exposure is 3× that amount.

How Cassie picks a venue

When you trigger a trade, the AI pipeline runs the following process:
1

Extract the thesis

Cassie reads the source tweet and extracts the directional claim — asset, direction, and any probability or price anchor mentioned.
2

Search both venues

Cassie queries Hyperliquid for matching perp or spot markets and Polymarket for matching binary outcome markets simultaneously.
3

Score each candidate

Each candidate market is scored for expression fit: how well the available instrument captures the thesis in the tweet, at what price, and with what expected slippage.
4

Pick the cleanest match

The highest-scoring candidate across both venues wins. Cassie places the order on that venue.
Cassie will not trade if no suitable market is found on either venue. A reply on X will explain the reason — for example, “no active Polymarket market matched this signal” or “insufficient liquidity on the identified perp.”
