Connecting Telegram turns Cassie from a set-and-forget agent into a live trading companion. The moment a trade fills, a watched position moves significantly, or a counter triggers, you get a direct message — no need to keep the dashboard open or refresh your X feed to find out what happened.

Why connect Telegram

Cassie sends five categories of notification to your Telegram DMs:

Trade filled

Instant confirmation the moment your mention results in a position being opened on Hyperliquid or Polymarket, including venue, side, size, and entry price.

Position P&L updates

Periodic updates when an open position moves significantly in either direction — so you know without watching a chart.

Exit signals

Notification when Cassie identifies an exit condition for an open position, including the reason and the realised result.

Daily summary

A once-daily recap of all positions opened, closed, and currently active — useful for reviewing performance at a glance.

How to connect

You can connect Telegram during onboarding (Step 5 — Notify) or at any time from your dashboard settings. The flow is the same in both places.
1

Click Connect Telegram

Press the Connect Telegram button. Cassie generates a unique, time-limited connection link and opens the Cassie Telegram bot in a new browser window. Allow pop-ups for cassie.trade if your browser blocks the window.
2

Send /start to the Cassie bot

The new window opens directly to the Cassie bot in Telegram (web or desktop app). Press Start or type /start and send it. This links your Telegram account to your Cassie session.
3

Wait for confirmation

Switch back to the Cassie browser window. Cassie polls for the connection every two seconds. Once the bot receives your /start message, the UI updates to show your Telegram username and a Connected status — no further action needed.
The Cassie Telegram bot is @cassiedottradebot. You will be redirected to it automatically when you click Connect Telegram — you do not need to search for it manually. Do not send your connection link to anyone else; it is single-use and tied to your account.
The connection link expires after a short window. If you see a timeout error, click Connect Telegram again to generate a fresh link and restart the flow.

Skipping and reconnecting

Telegram is optional. If you click I’ll do this later during onboarding, Cassie continues without notifications. You can return to Settings → Notifications in your dashboard at any time to connect the bot.

Disconnecting Telegram

To stop receiving notifications, open Settings → Notifications in your dashboard and click Disconnect. Your Telegram account is unlinked immediately and Cassie stops sending messages. You can reconnect at any time using the same flow described above.
If you stop receiving notifications unexpectedly, check that you have not blocked or muted the Cassie bot inside Telegram. Open the bot chat and send /start again — Cassie will re-establish the connection automatically.
